January 22nd: Bill Moren and Russ Green of the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary addressed the Club about the recent programs and projects happening on the Shipwreck Coast, along with their efforts to connect with the community and educators.
January 29th: No meeting held today. Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the quarterly service project!
Mark your calendar for Monday, April 7, 2025 for the Final 4 & More Event. Rotarian ticket purchases have been added to 2025 Q1 billing statements, which have been mailed. We need "all hands on deck" to make this an even bigger fundraiser. The Fish DayS and Beer Garden events underperformed which left our donation budget lower than expected. Let's work hard so we can continue supporting our community!
GUESTS:
We hosted the following guests:
Paul Hacker, Manitowoc County Supervisor, guest of Bill Moren
Mike Mullin, Executive Director of Lakeshore Natural Resources, guest of Bill Moren

Rotary International has 7 main areas of focus. One of these is "disease prevention". part of this is the Polio Plus fundraising to eradicate Polio world-wise, but also provide clean water and reducing HIV infection. You may be familiar with the Guatemala trips to assist in building the infrastructure to bring clean water to remote communities. Since 1995, there has been a 99.9% reduction in Polio cases.
