Rotary International has 7 main areas of focus.  This edition is about growing local economies.  Much of the world lives on $1.90 or less each day.  By facilitating microloans, agricultural opportunities, training, financial literacy, providing electricity via solar power, and even coordinating efforts to "adopt a village", Rotarians fight poverty and foster individuals to be resources in their own communities.  When individuals obtain these new skills, education, and financial literacy, they begin to break the cycle of poverty. To learn more about how Rotary grown local economies, click here.
