In recognition of their unwavering commitment, service, and dedication to our local community, Port Washington-Saukville Rotary Club is awarding Barbara Bates-Nelson, Executive Director of the United Way of Northern Ozaukee, and Craig Modahl, Executive Director of Balance, Inc. the Paul Harris Fellow award.

The Paul Harris Award recognizes the significant contributions of Rotarians towards the Rotary Foundation. Rotarians have a history of honoring non-Rotarians for their Service Above Self.

We are looking for up to 8 Rotarians to volunteer at the Ozaukee Food Alliance escourting clients through the pantry and helping load cars.  A few volunteers will be needed to lift some heavy items.

Chris Herren was an All-American basketball star who broke scoring records and realized his lifelong dream of playing in the NBA before losing his career and almost his family to the disease of addiction. Alcohol and drug-free since 2008, Chris has spoken to over 2 million students nationwide.

“When I saw Chris’ story and the lives he has impacted, I knew we had to bring his unique and powerful message to Ozaukee County.”

Since 2021, Chris has spoken to over 15,000 students, teachers, administrators and community members throughout the area.

PWHS' "Limited Edition" acapella group: 7:00 p.m.

Sheriff Knowles will show us around the Sheriff's Department.  Rotarians should enter through the "Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department" doors on the South end of the Justice Center.  Lunch will be provided by Twisted Willow and the Sheriff's Department will provide beverages.

This day will be used as a donation drop-off day and sorting day for supplies for the Pirate's Cove closet to support students in need at PHWS.  As part of the district grant project, we need at least 25% of our members to volunteer their time towards the project.  Another event will take place on January 25th for stocking supplies.

Jon speaks about the work of U.S. diplomats through the lens of his own experience serving at U.S. Embassies and Consulates.

This day will be used to finalize stocking the Pirate's Cove Closet for students in need at Port Washington High School.  Collection drives will have already taken place, and the remaining supplies gathered.  This will be the final step before the closet is opened to students. 

As part of the distrant grant project requirements, we need at least 25% of our membership base to volunteer their time.  Please be sure to register for this event or the sorting event on December 21st.

For the quarterly service project, we are assisting the United Way of Northern Ozaukee with their “Raising Hope Fundraiser”, taking place January 30, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at Inventors Brewpub.

Jim is the Wisconsin State Chair for ESGR and a member of our group. He will provide an overview of the mission of ESGR and information on their Boss Lift Program that Employers are invited to participate

Join in our annual fundraiser!  Takes place the evening of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m.  Ticket required for entry.  Tickets cost $100, only 125 sold!  Purchase price gains entry into the event for you and a guest, 4 drink tickets (2 per person), hearty hors d'oeuvres, and entry into the grand prize drawing.  Participate in the silent auction, bucket raffle, 50/50 raffle, wine & liquor pull, and more!  Winners for raffles are drawn at half-time.
